Sine we moved here in 1997, we’ve always been dedicated to helping our community. Even then, when Valencia Acura was far from realizing a profit, we began donating money, products, and services to various worthy causes. Today, we donate all this, plus our time, and we’re proud to have been involved with many individuals, families, and organizations that need a helping hand. Today, you see us many different places, because we care.

Cheri and Don continue to donate to various community organizations including the American Red Cross, Master’s College, United Way, Zonta Organization, Hart High, Valencia High, Saugus High, Canyon High and other local schools. They also support: The American Cancer Society, the Cowboy Music & Poetry Festival, young women’s Beauty Pageants, the American Heart Association and many other organizational and individual concerns.

In recognition of their contributions, Don was roasted by the Elks Lodge in 2001 and Don & Cheri were roasted by the Zonta Organization in 2002. Cheri was honored by the Betty Ferguson Foundation as their “Woman of Honor” in 2001.

For his community service Chevrolet selected Don to have the honor of being torchbearer for the 2002 Winter Olympics. In 2004 Cheri received the Carmen Sarro Award for improving the status of women through community service and Don and Cheri were named SCV Man and Woman of the Year.
