I already told you how excited we were about the Boys and Girls Club Auction this year, but I didn't have a chance to follow up. Last year, we raised $515,000. This year, we raised over $700,000—in a single night. That's over one-third of the Boys and Girls Club operating budget for the year!

Cheri and I have chaired this event for three years now, and I can't tell you how important we believe it is. They do a lot more than "shoot hoops" at the Boys and Girls Club. Over 3500 local kids depend on the Boys and Girls club for their great aftershool programs, art classes, and activities. The annual auction directly supports all of these wonderful things to do, giving our kids an even richer way of life.
