Roasting for Good Health
Hello All,
This week we wanted to talk about the recent roast at the Elks Lodge. Every year they have a wonderful celebration in the form of a roast to raise funds for a fantastic charity. This year’s roastee was John Gedney, a personal friend of ours here at Valencia Acura and the President and CEO of GG Industries. John is an amazing community partner who gives his money and his time to the SCV. His roast benefited the Samuel Dixon Center, another vital service in our community.
The Samuel Dixon Center helps thousands of people with income problems get medical help and attention, a growing issue in this country. We are pleased to partake of any event that helps people get the medical attention they need, whether they can afford it or not. In fact, Don has even been roasted in the past! This year’s Roast was Saturday, January 17th and I good time was had by all. I’m sure the Samuel Dixon Center was pleased as well. Thanks for being such a good sport, John.
On another note, we were amazed at the snow we got here in Santa Clarita! That small flurry a couple weeks ago was quite a shock to us sunny Southern Californians! But no matter where you live remember, the best way to get around in the snow and mud is to drive a brand new MDX with all wheel drive. That snow won’t stand a chance, and with the handling capabilities of the MDX no terrain is too rugged.
All the best,
Cheri
CUSTOMER’S VOICE:
Hi Cheri,
I simply wanted to drop you a line to thank you & Don for creating such an incredible environment for those of us purchasing and servicing our cars at Valencia Acura. I purchased my first Integra from VA in 1989, and with our latest purchases in ’06 of my daughter’s RSX and my wife’s ’07 MDX… we’ve now purchased nine (9) cars from your dealership, currently own three (my car is an ’04 TL) and have referred many others who’ve purchased from you as well. My loyalty to your dealership speaks for itself, and is largely due to the many great sales people over the years combined with the incredible “three amigos” in the service department. Hats off to you for being able to put together such a great ensemble at your facility. After living in Southern California my entire 44 years, I am about to permanently relocate out of state. Although I may not continue to have our regular maintenance performed there, I most likely will be coming back to Valencia Acura to purchase my next car (when the TL gets it’s next makeover). I have to have SOME reason to come back & visit, EH!
Thanks again,
Ken Fitzgerald
