Why You're in the Driver's Seat
Why You’re in the Driver’s Seat When Buying a Car Today
Because of the credit crunch, the stock market drop and the housing foreclosures, many people are scared stiff of spending money. Despite the economic downturn, now is the best time to buy a car. Dealerships and manufacturers understand the current situation, so more competitive and aggressive pricings and programs are available to customers.
Some banks have tightened their standards for auto loans, but many manufacturer-owned finance companies have done just the opposite. Why? Auto loans are a much lower risk than home loans, which makes them more likely to be approved by lenders. These auto lenders are also motivated to encourage sales, help consumers buy a great car and stimulate the economy. So now truly is the best time to buy.
Breaking the Barrier on Value
Of the 2009 models, the Acura TL and TSX are two of the best valued vehicles on the market. Acura cars have always been known for their high quality and low prices as a part of Honda’s luxury division. The fourth generation 2009 Acura TL is not only affordable (starting at $34,955), but is breaking the barrier to the next performance level.
The TL is bigger, bolder and the most powerful Acura ever built especially with its 280 horsepower, 3.5-liter VTEC V-6 engine. Although Acura tends to produce mainly front-wheel-drive (FWD) cars, the new TL model is offered in both FWD and SH-AWD (Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive). The SH-AWD option adds an additional 25 horsepower on a 3.7-liter engine.
Also available for both models is the prized technology package which includes: Real-time weather forecast with Doppler Radar, keyless pushbutton ignition, hard disk drive media storage in audio system, Panasonic ELS 10-speaker Surround Sound system, and Acura Navigation System with voice recognition. Officials estimate that 50 percent of buyers will add the attractive technology package. External noises from road and wind are reduced by the acoustically insulated windshield glass, PVC undercoating and 360° dual sealed doors.
Honda’s Acura 2009 TL models are built to outperform the competition in value, durability and customer satisfaction. Their attractive streamlined design will turn heads, offering performance and luxury at a great price.
