Hi all!

 

It’s been a whirlwind lately. The dealership was excited to get the all new 2009 Acura TSXs. It has even more technology and really good gas mileage--what a great car! The newly redesigned RLs arrived last week.  Don is already driving one and loving it! Call us or drop by for a visit. We’re always glad to see our friends.

 

To catch everybody up on what has been going on—the Arthritis Walk at Bridgeport Park was an amazing success! There were lots of people walking and many of them brought their dogs too. Remember, our pets get arthritis too. Thank you to everybody for supporting this event! We raised awareness and met our fundraising goals, raising over $106,000.  Rick Chambers was our master of ceremonies and we all had so much fun—I hope you all join us again next year!

 

I have been very dedicated to my work with Soroptimist International and I was recently honored with being installed as Governor of the Camino Real Region. The installation ceremony was held in Woodland Hills. It was a night to remember with Don’s golfing buddy and our friend, William Peterson of CSI being part of the installation ceremony. My Board of Directors loved it and him.  It looked like the female paparazzi taking pictures as he pinned every newly installed Board member.

 

Soroptimist International of the Americas bi-annual convention starts July 14th in Taipei, Taiwan. I am off onto this new adventure and very honored and excited to represent the Camino Real Region at this convention.

 

By the way, Bumper is really being a good boy and Scooter and Spark Plug have totally accepted him as a part of our family.  Check out his first billboard coming into the Santa Clarita Valley via Balboa.
